KANUMAS is the name of a regional seismic programme covering the Eastern, North- eastern and North-western shelf of Greenland. The 7 companies originally behind the project were BP, Exxon, Japan National Oil Corporation, Nunaoil*, Shell, Statoil and Texaco, with Nunaoil as the operator for the project. Seismic data was collected in North-western Greenland in 1992.
